This symptom is an indicator sign of several possible conditions, including many disorders that affect a person's hormones, bones, and/or stature. This disorder is generally identified at a young age. Possible treatments will address the underlying pathology that is causing the forehead bumps to become more pronounced. However, because the accentuation of the frontal bumps changes the way in which the bones and tissues of are formed, the frontal protrusion cannot be corrected. Accentuation of frontal bumps results in a frontal protuberance or brow bone that is wider than normal. This symptom may be mild during the first months and years of your child's life. As it grows, the protrusion will be more visible.
Enlarged frontal bumps are a symptom of a genetic photo retouching disorder or congenital abnormality, revealing a problem present at birth. The underlying cause of the bump may produce other symptoms, such as physical deformities. The accentuation of frontal bumps is generally caused by pathologies that affect the child's growth hormones. The most common underlying cause is acromegaly, a chronic condition that causes the overproduction of growth hormones. 
People with acromegaly have larger hands, feet, jaws, and skull bones than normal.
